The area

Bernard Chambas

Inaugurated on June 26, 2022, the Bernard Chambas area is located in a green space planted with local species in accordance with the guidelines of the Chevreuse Valley Natural Park. The name was chosen in tribute to Bernard Chambas, who died in 2021, a Magny-le-Grand figure who was deeply involved in local life. He had been president of the volunteer association “Les Amis de la pétanque” since 2013. The grounds include a 30m² room and accessible toilets reserved for the club and its members. The grounds remain public and open to all.

The Bernard Chambas space comprises:

21 marked-out playing fields measuring

12.5 meters by 3 meters

spread over two levels.
